Observing our wonderful Hamilton East School environment

Today we went to Putikitiki. We sat down on the hill and observed our environment. After some time sitting and looking we wrote down some words that would remind us of things at Putikitiki. Here are some of our lists.

We climbed back up the hill bursting with things to write about.

Mrs Blair taught us how to activate a noun. Sounds tricky huh? Here are some examples of the writing we created.

A group of bamboo was dancing in the wind. Mele

The trees were sturdy and they were breathing in the cool air. The banks were peaceful and sleeping in the sun. Ismail

The bamboo is old and limping over by the grass. Erin
