The Shake Out

On Wednesday at 9.26am we participated in the Nz Shake Out.

A bell told us the earthquake had hit. We had to 

drop, cover and hold. 

When the second bell went we knew that the fake earthquake was over, Mrs Blair told us to line up by the door and go with our class to the Dawson field. At Dawson we had to line up and Mrs Blair called the roll and made sure everyone was safe. 

Did you know that years ago today there was the first earthquake in Christchurch?

We have two children in our class who have moved up to live in hamilton and were in some of the Christchurch earthquakes?
