This week and last week Room 12 had their very own book week.
Our teacher Mrs Blair gave us a book assignment. We chose our own book to read and then when we finished reading our book we chose some activities to work through. Friedel
It was really fun getting to respond to our story by making things like a business card for our main character. Jack
I made a story map using the book to figure out all the places my character went in the story. Nehaal
Ladybugs and Starfish had a different assignment sheet. They got to choose a new name for their character and why they thought it was appropriate. Ezekiel
Today we had a book club. We shared our books that we read during book week. We told our friends whether we thought our book was great. We also told them our favourite part in the story.
We were so lucky, Mrs Blair found some book worms for us to chew while we shared our stories.
What is a good book that you are reading at the moment?

ReplyDeleteWow thats cool that you do book clubs!Us at Four Peaks at Arizona also have book clubs but the thing we don't have is book week and we also don't get our own books we just get color groups and all of us in the color group read a book but the only thing we get to choose is that the time it takes to read to a chapter.
