We have a group of Japanese students at our school.
They are here learn about our culture and our country.
We welcomed the Japanese students into our classroom for a cultural exchange.
First we taught them how to make a paper flower by weaving. Some of us made flax flowers to show them why we were making paper ones.
Then they helped us make an origami camera. They are very neat and we were very excited to learn how to make them. We had to watch and listen carefully because parts of it were really tricky.
Some of us made it by looking at the diagrams in their book and some of us learnt by helping each other.
I had so much fun doing origami we made allot of different types of animals and alsorts of stuff.
