Sketching Putikitiki

 This week we have been learning techniques to sketch trees. 

First we look at the shape of the whole tree and lightly sketch it, and add in a trunk.

Next we use a wobbly line or small pencil strokes to create the idea of leaves.

Finally we shade and add some details...and then we are ready to try sketching trees on Putikitiki from our gorgeous new seating area!
