In Edie's maths group we have been learning about area and perimeter. We all got in a group of 4 and we were given a building in our school to find the area of. We had to measure the length and width in metres and multiply them, this gave us the area in metre squares. Then we made it on a square grid of centimetre squares, at the end we had created a map of the school.
