Edie's maths group - calculating area
In our maths class we have been learning to calculate the area of rectangles and squares. We started by calculating the area of a single rectangle and moved to working out the are of shapes that can be split into rectangles.
We learnt to calculate area and perimeter using centimeters and centimeter squares.
