The making of our birds.

We started making the birds by molding chicken wire to make the shape of a bird. The small birds were made with tin foil. Then we layered paper over the wire until the shapes were right and the wire and tin foil was covered. When the paper mache was dry, we started painting the birds. We used different colours and paint techniques to give the birds texture.

Some of the birds had feathers added to them also.
