24th April 2015. This morning, after Positive Assembly, the whole school went down to Memorial Park to look at the preparations for the ANZAC commemorations tomorrow. The gardens are looking beautiful. There are felt poppies which have been put into the ground to create wreaths and there are many many poppies on the banks down towards the cenotaph. There are also crosses with the names of soldiers who died, one of whom was a teacher at Hamilton East School.
