Room 11 has been working very hard on explanation writing. We have learnt the basics of "cause and effect" language and how to format our work into paragraphs. It has been challenging to learn how to do an introduction and conclusion. 

Our goal was to explain the difference between two animals. These animals often are animals that people might think to be very similar.

We had to start by identifying the features of the two animals.

Next we used a Venn Diagram to find similarities and differences between these animals.
