The Mapmakers Race - Marae protocol

In Tui hub we have been reading a book called 'The Mapmakers Race'. For maths we made our own maps using equipment from around our learning space. This is Maddison making her map using maths blocks, paper boxes, and her imagination (Rohan).

Next Friday we are going on a trip to the Hukanui marae in Gordonton. We have been practising marae protocol.  We used equipment from around the room to show our learning (Levi).

On Friday we welcomed our new teachers and students to our Hamilton East Marae.
