I hope you have managed to access some of the maths on the Maths week site. Have you seen the competition to design a new logo?

'This year is the 25th anniversary of Maths Week! 

The first Maths Week was held in 1998.

To mark the occasion, we are holding a “Design a Maths Week logo” competition.  The competition will be open to all students in Year 1 – 11.

Have a look at the rules, here are two about the design"

1. The logo must have the words Aotearoa New Zealand Maths Week in it.

1. Logos can be hand-drawn, and scanned or photographed for entry, or they can be computer drawn.  Entries are submitted on the Maths Week website.'
