Photography Review

On Monday, Week 2. We had Emily's sister Rebecca come in to help us with the photography to bring all our toi pieces together for 'Kete Aronui'. Rebecca first talked to us about what she does. She is a photographer part time and takes pictures of families, babies and weddings! She also showed us different styles of photography where we learnt about 'fine art'. Fine art looks like a painted picture! but it is still a photo. She then taught a small group all about how to take a photo! We then got to have a turn with her special cameras. Rebecca helped us bring our pieces of toi together that we have been working on over term 2. We made pounamu, korowai and designed ta moko. We got dressed up, face painted and posed for our photo. I like the way the photos have turned out, we look very grown up and professional in our portraits.
