Mask Making
In Tui hub we have spent the last few weeks mask making! We have been making these masks and thinking about symbolism - what symbols represent us, where we come from and to show our personalities.
First we used cardboard paper for the base of the mask. Then we scrunched up pieces of tissue and saturated them in glue. We stuck the tissue onto the places we wanted to enhance or make 3D. Finally, once everything was dry we got to paint the light base colour. We are still working on the final details of our masks and hope to see a finished product soon!
We wonder if we put on our masks whether we will become different people?
