This term we have focussed our Turangawaewae inquiry around the question 'What lies beneath our feet?'
In Tui hub we had a choice of how to inquire into this question.
We could either:
Look historically into who or what came before us and may have walked the same ground that lies beneath our feet today,
or
Look from a scientific view of what actually, physically lies beneath our feet, or may have been beneath our feet in the past.
Tui hub worked in pairs, small groups or individually. Our learners first looked at lots of different information and then decided on a question to research that interested them. They all used books, internet research, conversations, the library and each other to try and help find some answers. Here are some photos of Tui hub working on their inquiry projects.
