Preparing for our visit to the marae

We are preparing for our visit to the Marae next week. During our oral language session today we brainstormed what we already know about a Marae and things that happen there. These are our ideas:

    your ideas are amazing it was disspounting that we didn't get to go to the marae. When I was about 3 or 4 my grandads mum died in te aroha. we put on her nice flowers from in her garden and put it on her shiny brown coffin. it was sad.
