The Class of 1953
Today people that used to go our school in 1953 came and visited us. We did a haka powhiri to welcome them to our school.We got an amazing speech thanking us for our welcome. Sebastian who won the school shield last year got to get a photo with a lady the won the shield in 1953. Her name is Elizabeth. Elizabeth told us how she won, she wasn't top at anything she just tried lots of different things. She told us she wasn't the best at spelling. When she came to visit our class she had a look at my spelling she told me that you will always get better. She also showed me her old books and all the red pen telling her she spelt a word wrong.
